Average SAT Test Scores: 2022-2023
Charlotte Christian School students were well prepared for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) in 2023. According to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NC DPI), as well as other private school reporting, CD students outperformed their Charlotte public school counterparts as well as the State and National average. They did however lag slightly behind their fellow Charlotte private schools. This information still points to the school preparing students well for higher education. Charlotte Christian students were also well prepared for the Aptitude and Critical Thinking test (ACT). Athletics
Country Day School participates in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) and has seen much success at the state level. Arts
Charlotte Christian also invests heavily in its arts programs. The school offers 40 total electives geared towards the arts encouraging freedom of expression amongst its students. These electives can fall into one of four categories: Digital Arts, Music, Theater, and Visual Arts. The center for arts on campus is the Hendrick Center for Arts and Science. Here there are several classrooms, dressing rooms, and an auditorium all geared towards advancement in the arts. This building also hosts a glass lined art gallery where students' artwork is displayed.
